The Do’s and Don’ts on Dealing With Heartbreak and Finding True Healing

Hello, Hello! I hope you are all doing well! So this is one post I have really been wanting to work on for a while now. A couple of weeks ago I posted a poll on what y’all wanted to hear about on Instagram. “What did y’all want to hear? Serving Others or Lessons About Heartbreak.” And what I have decided to do is to do both posts! So, spoiler alert, that will be the next blog post, and for this week I am going to give y’all some helpful tips to help y’all get through a heartbreak. This is something that I have gone through a few times and I know how painful it is. This is a type of pain that if not dealt with properly can really warp your views, not only on life, but future relationships. I know because I’ve been there. I know because I am having to really explore and find those areas of my heart that have been broken, stepped on, and walked over once more due to my decisions on how I decided to deal with the pain. I write to encourage you to not be like me. I write to help you, and give you real, applicable advice to help you move through these murky waters and into the place of healing. With that being said, I am praying for each and everyone of you, and I hope this helps. Please feel free to like, comment, and subscribe; also, if you have any other tips, please feel free to share them below. Without further ado, let’s dive on in!

Why in the World is God the Way God is?

Hello Hello, Beautiful People! I hope you are all doing well! As we Segway into today’s post, I want to make an announcement: I will be posting every other Friday. I have been doing some research, and in order for me to really be consistent with this, it would be best if I posted every two weeks on Friday’s at noon instead of Monday mornings at nine. Also, as usual, feel free to like, comment, and subscribe to my email list for this blog.

With that being said, there is something I’ve been wrestling with recently. Why in the world does God act and move in the ways He does? Why does pain occur? Why is heartbreak allowed? Why in the world am I here? What’s the point?

Why does God act in the ways that He does?

What the Heck Pt. 2 of the Series

Hello Hello, Beautiful People! I hope you are all doing well! So this is the second part of the series, and I’m really excited to continue divulging into this topic with Y’all.  So last week, we dove into the topic of how His love enables us to be strong and go through circumstances that we couldn’t imagine being possible. This week, we will be analyzing the most beautiful thing that it means to be loved by God: the mere opportunity to be called His child– if we accept His Son. Allow me to explain it through a piece of writing I wrote back in January: Continue reading

What the Heck Does it Mean to be Loved by God, and Why is It so Important? Pt. 1 of the Series

Hello Hello, Beautiful People! I hope you all are doing well. I want to for starters apologize for my absence on here. If I may be honest, school has officially been geared up for over a month now, and it honestly has been kicking my tail. However, I want to come to y’all now and express my genuine excitement for me being able to write again to Y’all. God has been moving in impeccable ways here on campus as well as in my own life; therefore I can’t wait to dive in. With that being said, I want you all to know that I pray over each and every one of Y’all daily and I love you all so so much!

A Letter to All Girls/Women Out There:

Dear All the Young Girls and Women Reading This Post,

Hello. For starters, I would like to explain why I am writing to you today. As I was beginning to prepare this week’s blog post, I knew I wanted to write a letter to all of the women and young girls that read my blog. What I didn’t know, however, was the series of events that would cause me to scrap my original letter (which, let’s be honest, only had one paragraph) and write this one. Like normal, I hope that you all are doing well. I love each and every one of y’all so, so much and I am praying for y’all daily. If you ever need anyone to talk to, I am always here for you. You can comment below or reach out to me through my Contacts Page. With that being said, allow me to begin:
