Hello Hello Beautiful People! I hope you’re all doing well! It is officially summer for me, and I have survived my first year of college. Whoop Whoop!  My brain is fried, so please laugh at the title of this post because it describes in a nutshell how exhausted my mind is. (Sleep and relaxation has been my best friend these past few days, you have no idea.)

So my writing for today is going to be a little unorthodox; however, I am really excited to write it, so please sit back, relax and scroll through this week’s post! 🙂

So for those of y’all who don’t know me, I love pictures. I don’t necessarily like having my picture taken, but I love taking pictures of the sky and nature. My camera roll and over half of my pictures taken with my Polaroid camera can attest to this, for I think there is an astounding amount of beauty found in the world we live in.

My top two things to admire in nature are flowers and sunsets. (Sunrises would so be a go if I could find motivation to wake up that early in the morning.)  But what I love about these two things is the amount of diversity among them. Hear me out in this, for if you think about it, the sky is always changing. When you look at the sky, there are times where it is crystal clear and not a cloud to be seen, there are times when lilacs and pinks and oranges all blend together to create this beautiful, aerial piece of art, and there are times where all you can see when you look up is grey– almost black– with streaks of lightning streaking across the sky. I could on and on, but you get my point. When you look at the flowers, there are so many different of varieties. There are flowers of all different colors, shapes, patterns, ect. There are some flowers that only bloom in specific climates or situations, some that bloom in order for fruit to be created, flowers that are used for different purposes– like medicines and herbal remedies. Some for beauty, but all with a purpose.

My point is this: in regards to the pictures above this world is beautiful, as well as everything in it. And one thing I want y’all to know about me is that I am huge on encouraging women to have a high self-esteem and confidence in themselves. This is something I struggle with and I know a lot of women do, and I am here to encourage all of you beautiful ladies to look at the pictures above as well as the nature around you, and actively recognize that you are absolutely stunning and here with a purpose.

You see, the God that paints the colors in the sky, actively painted your lips that natural shade of pink; the Great I Am who created the stars above decided to place a little bit of their twinkle in your eyes, and from the fires of Heaven He placed a passion  into your hearts, so that you may fulfill your glorious purpose with a burning desire and a heart on fire.

Ladies, He created this beautiful world. He created a beautiful you, and I pray that you begin to see yourself as the beautiful gem you are.

I know you aren’t perfect. I am not either. We all have things we wish we could change about ourselves, trust me. I would love to be about 4 inches taller, possess the ability tan like an Egyptian goddess, and have the rare ability to eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound; however, even as I write this now I am reminded that God sees me differently. He sees you differently. He doesn’t see my flaws, but rather the daughter He created, saved, and gave special gifts to to go impact the world in ways I can only do. He doesn’t see the cellulite or stretchmarks or zits or freckles, but rather He sees the heart each and every person He ever created, and He loves them for it. He sees you for the beautiful daughter of the King that you are. And that, my friends, is amazing.

I love each and everyone of you, and I am praying for all of you. Be encouraged this week, and know that you are beautiful and created with and for a purpose. Have a great week and God bless!
